I want to achieve using the +/- 10V range for channel 0, and the +/- 2V range for channel 1. I used just two AI channels (0 and 1), but at different ranges. First we must note that we cannot directly ask for a hardware input range, instead we specify the minimum and maximum expected value for an input channel (or for multiple input channels) and ULx will utilize the lowest range (highest gain) on the hardware model which entirely encompasses the expected signal.įor this example, I use a USB-1208FS model (previously configured for four differential AI channel mode in InstaCal). ULx for LabVIEW does support using different ranges on different channels, and this FAQ describes how. This is often referred to as a Gain Queue or Gain-Channel Queue. Many of MCC's A/D hardware models have the ability to sample different AI channels at different gains (ranges).
